For all of you that's watched the trailer you'll notice that it shows the games that has been confirmed to release. At the end though you'll see that it shows bowser chasing the two fellows in what seems like a new super mario game for 3ds. So do you think its true and it'll look sort of like what they showed or is it just for the trailer.

Well, maybe not immedietely. But, considering sales of the first 2, it'd be pretty surprising if they didn't make a sequel to New Super Mario Bros. for 3DS, or at least another 2D Mario game (which is, of course, simultaneously in 3D... )

I think that is the best Nintendo advertisment I've seen in a very long time. I absolutely enjoyed that ad. You'll never believe how many times I watched and re-watched that trailer.
I do believe that Nintendo will have a new New Super Mario Bros game for the Nintendo 3DS along with a Donkey Kong game as you do see the Donkey Kong barrels in the trailer as well. As for games that Nintendo has not officially announced, namely, Pikmin and Captain F-Zero, I also believe that we'll see those on down the road for the Nintendo 3DS.
It's nice to finally get a handheld with graphics on par with those of the Wii.

Sweet trailer indeed. It put a huge smile on my face seeing Miyamoto, Iwata, and Reggie in the trailer. Having them be a part of it is what made it so good. Then after they showed that video, seeing Reggie come back on stage in a burnt up suit was hilarious. "It feels real to me!"
About the topic, it was simply to show how much simpler Mario can be if it were to be in 3D. In the Iwata Asks, Miyamoto talks about how the three dimensional Mario games were harder to line your jumps up in compared to the 2D games. Adding in a true 3D effect with the 3DS will allow gamers to have more of a sense of depth, just making it easier to grasp. That said, I'd be surprised if a Mario game wasn't in the works for the 3DS.
I really want a DK game, If the DK country that's gonna be on the wii was on 3ds I'd be so happy. (even though I already own a wii )
Have no fear Marzipaz. I can assure you that we'll see a Donkey Kong game on the Nintendo 3DS. Please notice that in the Nintendo 3DS promotional trailer you see Link's arrows, shield and sword. It was not until much later after that trailer was shown that Nintendo acknowledged that The Legend of Zelda: OOT 3D was on the way for the Nintendo 3DS.
It is also worth considering the Donkey Kong barrels in the trailer flowing out of the Nintendo 3DS screen and I believe that is a sure indication that we will indeed see a Donkey Kong game on the 3DS. To be quite honest, I hope that the 3DS Donkey Kong game will be a remake of the very first Donkey Kong Country game on the Nintendo 64 of which I have never been able to play as I was born in 1988. I plan on writing another e-mail to Nintendo on tomorrow regarding the Nintendo 3DS and Donkey Kong Country.

According to the trailer, it seems that the 3DS will double as a vacuum cleaner, and will be able to be dropped without signs of any damage whatsoever. Oh, and it will be able to spout money. Although according to Superstar Saga, mushroom kingdom currency isnt worth all that much as of late.
