I subscribe to Nintendo Power as well, and they never mentioned that Luigi's Mansion would come to 3DS.

The Wii acheived 5 years ago what the PlayStation and Xbox are just acheiving now. Now Ninty is giving us 3-D graphics on a handheld. Dudes. Nintendo pwns. End of story.
Of course the 3DS is cooler than move or kinect, they are just copying what Nintendo has had for 4 years now. The real question is whether the 3DS is cooler than the Wii.

I have no idea what 5th Cell guy is even on about. How do you compare a new handheld console to two motion gaming products that are nothing alike? It's like saying "I think books are cooler than playing cops and robbers outside..." Aside from the fact they're both forms of recreation, the two are completely imcomparable.
"Yeah... a little. I don't know," he said when asked if Kinect or Move were particularly inspiring to him. "The 3DS is cooler in our opinion."
I think he likes the 3DS more. "I like reading books more than playing cops and robbers" is a perfectly valid opinion - which is the overlooked key word here.
"I like it because..." is nice, but not necessary for an opinion to be formed or expressed.
P.S. I'd also agree with liking books more than playing cops and robbers. I also like apples more than oranges.
Yeah, Kinect is cool, but kinda impractical. I'm really not sure why MS focused on showing off racing games moreso than sports games, because generally people drive while holding a wheel. I'm guessing Bill Gates forgot that because now he has his servants driving him places while he just dances around thinking that he's driving. 3DS may have been beaten by Japanese phones and iPod Touch, but it's practical.

you do realise that bil gates stopped already for years at microsoft?

And the other way around too. Notice that graphics, and processing power (729 MHz IBM Broadway processor for wii and 3.2 GHz PowerPC with three processor cores for the 360) of the xbox beat the wii badly. While the tech may beat the wii. the wii has lots of innovation. i.e. wiimotion+, wii zapper, wii wheel.

Which means Nintendo has a long way to go with graphics. Meanwhile, Microsoft and Sony are scratching their heads about how to make the graphics even more impressive in the next gen without their fans claiming that there's only subtle differences. I wish them the best of luck

Sigh, again with this "Sony/ Microsoft are copycats, Nintendo is innovative!" Silliness.
Guys. Nintendo didn't invent remote controls. Nintendo didn't invent touch screens, and Nintendo did not invent glasses free 3D. All Nintendo did do was implement those into a games console.
Microsoft was the first to come up with a decent online service. Kinect is such a departure from the Wiimote it's childish to try and compare the two technologies (games are a different story, but that's not Microsoft's fault).
Sony was the first to come up with game sharing between a PS3 and handheld console (PSP). And then there's the little technology called Blu-ray.
I know it's not in the mantra for "fans" to give credit where credit is due, but this whole "Nintendo is innovative" lie needs to be clarified. There's a degree of innovation involved in putting technology in new formats such as games consoles, but then, there's an equal amount of innovation involved in taking someone else's idea, and finding a better or even more engaging way of doing it.
(it should also be noted that R & D - where all the "innovations" come from - Nintendo's R & D budget is a tiny fraction of either Sony or Microsoft. Those two vendors are more than just games companies, of course, but it's worth keeping in mind.)

Not like they hit the peak yet, PC games still look better, after all. The question is how will they do it while remaining cost effective?
I don't expect graphics will be the focus of the next generation of consoles - given that digital downloadable games will probably become the focus over retail by then.
I think kinect is cooler then the 3DS just because its so much more advaned then the wiimote and 3D and in the long run will have more uses in technology then the others.
Also as much as i want a 3DS next year i'm starting college and having to save up for a new laptop and camera.
Still one thing good about glasses 3D is that i'll have an excuse to get some 3D ray bans.
WAT!
