Topic: 3DS comes in 3 colors (also 3DS place holder site)

I have the flame-colored SP, and a black DS Lite, so I'll go for the teal one.

It's not a remake. So awesome.

Aw, man. This design had better not be final. Stylus at the top? Leds on the bottom? Ugly metal plate at the top? Sliders for volume and 3D-ness? Ugly drill-holes for the cameras? Yep, this definitely needs an overhaul before launch. It's like they took all the design improvements that the DSi had over the DS-lite and reverted them. To DS-phat or PSP clunkiness in some cases.

The colors however are very nice. Purple and aqua both look very good to me. I'm not so sure about the metallic finish yet. It looks nice and shiny, but one of the things I like about the DSi too is that it doesn't show fingerprints everywhere you touch it.

Nice Colors I'll go with Red + Black.

I know this is off topic but at http://www.engadget.com/photos/e3-2010-nintendo-3ds-close-up-... you can see the game card won't fit in the other DS's.

i would like there to be a white version out of the gate, to match the wii. i was so mad when i got the dsi on release night and the a few months later a white one emerged! and don't get me started on the dsixl!!!! but nintendo will always get my money!
the teal/black 3DS looks like a GBC system color i once had.

I like the metallic metal flakeish finish, and the cradle might come in handy! So at a 2GB max for the 3DS carts thats the size the will be! im glad its still a cartridge and not a mini disc or a "hm hm" UMD.
nintendo perfected carts and to get full 3D out of them is AMAZING!

Personally I think the Black/Grey one is the best. I prefer one color. But the red and blue still look stunning.

I agree! I would like a solid white one. There is a Purple/Black one on the floor, it doesn't look as girly as it sounds. It looks a little,,,,dare i say cool......

Assuming they stick with these colour schemes, I'll probably go with the black/grey one. They all look good, although I don't like the way the red one looks orange on the bottom.

I totally agree. This better not be the final design. Looks too much like the old phat and clunky DS. I do wish some improvement therer!

It's cool looking, but kinda chunky. Like the top lid doesn't quite fit the bottom lid. The colours are cool though. That purple is awesome, and the orange is really cool, too. Sooo much much better than DSi XL colours. :b

Did not know about that purple one. Do want. I just hope they arent going to release different colors in different countries.

The blue/black one is the sexiest.
