Topic: 3DS carrying case / hardcase

Hi .

Just wanted to hear some opinions about all the cases for the 3DS whch are out already.
Not sure if i want a real "baggy" protection for my 3DS or simply some sort of transparent hard shell.
Any experience with these ?

Hard shell are allmost worthless. if they have a soft padding inside then you could consider them, but if its just a hard cover then any impact will be transferred straight to the 3ds. you shoul look into soft ones, maybe silicon if there are any. And like I said hard with soft padding works too. Oh and remeber that dsi and ds lite cases work to.

You really can't go wrong with any of the HORI case products.

The first one is a hard case. I have the second one. A soft case. I would have bought a hard case but it wasn't available when I was buying my 3DS. It's perfect, honestly.

This is what I got. It has 27 little pockets to hold games, and a smaller case can be detached which in itself has two pockets for games. I found it to be very useful thus far. They're soft cases. There's also a pocket to hold an extra stylus and the charger.

I got this Power A case for about $15 at Walmart. It was one of the only two 3DS cases they had the night before launch and the other one was the same but black.
It's a little low on pockets but fits all my 3DS and DS games atm and otherwise gets the job done as well (there's even a nice little pocket for AR cards).

Well, i made this and got this one for free with my amazon credit (it's so creepy... I love it!)

The 3DS is being held in place by a plastic clicking system inside. So you can even play the 3DS while it's in the case =)
It doesn't have a place for the games, but it does come with an extra pen wich is also stored inside the case.

it looks awesome and is small, and will probably save your 3DS from some damage if you drop it.

That is so weird! I can see the appeal, although I think I'd avoid it myself. I'm going to use an extra case I have lying around for now and then when my classes get out in a couple of weeks I'll look at making something I think.

I still have my original DS lite case, and it fits the 3DS well. I also redeemed some points and ordered one of those DS lite pouches on the Nintendo website. So, I will use that when I take the 3DS with me for Streetpass, etc.

I got this on e in the store I work in, It's officialy for the ds lite/dsi . But it is just way too awesome + it fits, incuding 3 games and a place for an extra stylus.

I have that case too! Overall it is a good case for the few DS games you keep and all your new 3DS games.

I have 32 total DS and 3DS games, anybody found a case that will hold them all? Right now, i'm using a locked brinks metal security box with the games in coin slots and my DS lite and GB Color games in the bill slot. Although it isn't very portable and it's hard to find/organize the games.

I've got one in the mail from Amazon (only had to pay S&H since I preordered my 3DS with them). I'll tell you how it is when it arrives.

I don't understand why you would want to carry all 32 games with you? I only carry three. I coulnd't dip in and out of 32 games. Play one, complete it, then start another. Or in the case of when a system launches, play a couple and complete them before you buy a new game!

This or this, depending on how much money you want to get rid of.

For everyone else, buy this. In terms of price, protection, storage, functionality, and quality, it's probably the best all around portable console case I've ever seen. I actually wrote a long review of this, but apparently reviews aren't allowed in the forums now.

I'm not sure on getting one yet. I'd want something very robust and 99,9999 percent waterproof.
What do you guys think about this Sujiao Hardcase ?

My pet style plush case may not be water proof but i can use the puppet to distract kids wanting to play my 3DS

I got a case made by PowerA its a smaller one holds just your 3DS and 3 games and has a mess pocket for accessories. DO NOT GET IT. its a pain to strap your 3DS into it and the area that's suppose to hold all your accessories like extra stylus's, microfiber cloth, headphones, etc. doesn't hold squat everything falls out of it. I'll definitely be getting a different one very soon good thing it was only $12

Looking at most of these other cases it looks like I lucked out in terms of price/practicality.
