Topic: 3Ds Camera Slow Preview

Hi everyone,

as we are pretty deep in the holiday season, i took many pictures throughout the journeys.
What i noticed is that Nintendo 3Ds camera really needs a software update.
I cant believe how long it takes the system to have all photos loading in the tiny preview screen.
Actually i got 1645 photos in the catalog ( yes yes , most are those GC 3D photo show offs) and it really takes 3 full minutes to load the preview up !!!!

So guys n gals anyone got a solution for this? Its really annoying on the go especially, if you want to show some new holiday pics fast to your friends while waiting for metro etc ...

It takes mine mere seconds to load up and I have 2,405 images so yours must be broken : 3

It could be the SD card, try copying all the files from it onto another card.

I also have this problem. It doesn't take 3 minutes but it takes a lot longer than it should. Maybe like 30 seconds. I've got over 2,000 photos. What's weird is that my DSi with the same card, has no load time at all to get into the camera app. I think they should not try to load the album upon booting up the camera. What if you want to get a picture really quickly? Why should you have to wait for the album to load when that's not even what you're there to use. This however is a small problem. I'll tell you what needs updating: The ability to play my god damn DSiWare games off of SD card!!!

I wish we could organize the photos, not only by date but by other type of categories. For example, Family, Videogames, Places, Art, etc. Just like adding songs to a custom playlist for the 3ds Sound, we could add photos to a custom group.
