No. Flash cripples mobile devices to the point of no return. Adobe never made a good mobile version of flash even with the iphone's succes. Every prototype you see of a mobile device or even a tablet flash runs slow. Also the mobile devices that do use flash have bad battery life. I hope they go the html5 rout since many sites have already made html5 mobile sites for the ipod and ipad.

WAT!

Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.

@TLink9: we don't know yet. i doubt it, personally; flash runs pretty horribly on iPhones anyway, from what i've seen. it's just not good for mobile devices, it's made (well, nowadays -- flash has gotten more and more complicated with each new version) for computers with strong processors and plenty of available memory to work with.

Flash isn't compatible at all with iphone/itouch, because steve jobs doesn't like it. The one exception, I believe, is that youtube is based on flash (correct me if I'm wrong), and the youtube app works just fine on the iphone.

It does cause long loads and such; flash would never be possible on a DSi. I don't see why it couldn't be possible on the 3DS though, if they're beefing up the internet as much as they say.

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.

@TokenGirl He also doesn't like Flash because a bunch of the apps on the App Store are based on Flash thingys.

Steve Jobs doesn't like Flash because if you could play free Flash games on your iPhone, then you wouldn't bother spending $2 on the iPhone version of the exact same game. That's it.

Extremely unlikely. Also, the 3DS wouldn't be suited at all to flash games, if that's what you're interested in, because only the lower, smaller screen is touch-enabled. As for YouTube videos, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Ewww... no offense, but I would put Java just behind Internet Explorer on the list of worst technologies involving the web.

Unless, that is, you meant Javascript, which is entirely different and should indeed be supported.

Java may be on the list of the worst plugins available, but there are a few java-enabled programs on the internet that I do enjoy.
The powder game, for example
