A thread where users can discuss tips & tricks on the bosses they run across in 3DS games. As such material may be spoilerish, be sure to start any post with the title of the game in question, so those who don't want spoilers for a particular game, can skip posts about it. I'll start:

Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance

Boss: Julius (looks like a giant Frankenstein Pete). Location: Traverse Town Fountain Plaza. Importance: Optional.

I've beaten the game's story, and was just wandering around Traverse Town, looking for any treasure chests I may have missed, when all of a sudden, I'm thrown into a random boss fight against this thing, and it smashes me within seconds (whatever it is, has the most health I've ever seen in the game as well).

Any tips on what to do (I'm level 50 BTW). Oh, and your Dream Eaters are absent during the fight as well.

Whoa dude um how did you get to that i wanna fight it!!!

Just go to the Fountain Plaza in Traverse Town (only after you've completed the story, I'm assuming).

I still haven't been able to beat it (I'm going to level Riku up to level 60, before I try again. You can fight it as Sora as well, but my Riku is stronger, so I'm going to do it with him first).

A lot of ballonra and ballonga spells and good amount of dodging.

OK thanks this gives me more reason to put Dream Drop Distance back in my 3DS

I found him and hardly penetrated his first health bar with Sora he is only level 41 hahah I wonder what happens when you beat him??

Yeah, I've used Balloonra a few times against him (don't think I have Balloonga, but I'll check).

How do you dodge him? He moves so fast! (especially when he uses that combination attack).

So far, I've only been able to knock out 4 of his health bars at most.

I used my riku who is 43 and I got through two health bars because Riku has good comands but man is that guy hard!

Basically stay at a distance, cast the balloon spell and he's gonna come towards you anyways so just get out of the way as soon as you cast the spell since the balloon spells lock on to him anyways. Distance is the key.

Got a little over half his life this last time (got 7 or 8 of his life bars down).

He did something that disabled my Curaga O_O

I'm currently Leveling my guys up right now I've got my riku 47 and Sora 46! I'm trying this boss again with lots of balloon type and cure magic.

Just so this thread doesn't become too KH:DDD focused...

The DENPA Men: They Came By Wave

Boss: True King. Location: Guardian Tower Basement (behind lvl 99 door). Importance: Optional.

So, All of my Denpa Men are level 99 (the max you can level to), and this guy keeps beating me. Any tips?

YES! I finally beat that boss in Dream Drop Distance (with Riku)!

I won't spoil what it is, but what you get for beating it, is well worth the trouble, IMO.

Wait Do you still get something if you beat it with sora as well ore do you only have to beat it with one of them??

Oh, my Sora's 10 levels below my Riku, so it's going to be awhile before I fight it with him.

You get an "item" (won't spoil) for beating it with Riku, and I'm positive you'll get that same "item" for Sora, once you beat it with him as well.

No, not unless you count that Lord Kyroo (knight frog looking Dream Eater) that you can challenge to a duel (it also has a high level of health, but isn't very hard).

I just found out you can replay any past boss fights, at a higher difficulty.

Just go to where the boss was at, and there will be a link portal in the area marked "Special".

Awesome! If you refight all the bosses this way, you get an even better "item", than the one you get for beating the special boss!
