In this interview from Nintendo's E3 center with one of the dudes from EA he talks about stuff online and it sounds like a big step up. He might only be referring to EA's online service but I doubt that:

Sorry, but my brother is playing musics I don't like, so I couldn't hear the interview. When the music goes, hopefully I'll be able to see what he said about online.

Yeah, for once I agree with you. Nintendo has done absolutely nothing to prove they're capable of competing with Sony and Microsoft in the online department.
I have faith they could, but they're not showing it yet.

I thought the 3DS Beefy was the redesign due 3 months after launch...
The most murderous site on the internet, that barely ever gets updated

No Wii U yet.... Not enough first party wow titles to pull me in yet... And Nintendo's got a ways to go to repair the damage done during the Wii generation.
