I'll actually consider this. However I would like to see them streamline that charger I'm looking for something thin, like a mouse-pad.

Yeah.... I think I'll pass.
I had a charging stand and it kinda altered my Wii Remote.... it drained some brand new Duracell batteries in less than 3 hours.

I say avoid this like the plague. The added battery life compared to the size of the thing suggests NiCad to me, which means poor performance and memory effect if not used "properly" (fully drained before re-charging). Surely someone else will come up with the same idea and create a decent L-ion or lithium polymer version which blows this one out of the water.

I think I'll wait until other companies make better, more realiable packs. It sounds like there's too many risks on this one. I never use extra charging packs for the DSiXL anyway because I get by with saving energy by turning down the brightness.

did you consider at all that maybe the battery doesnt take up the whole size, it could take up a small portion of it while the rest is solid, because if they made it thinner itd get a bit fragile, and if it didnt cover the whole back, itd be ugly and annoying
fair enough to wait for some speculation and wait for reviews, but you're going a bit far

Maybe I am assuming too much, but it seems pretty stupid to me to create an extended battery that doesn't make the best use of the space it takes up.

I've never had a problem with Nyko's products myself. I may get this- but I'll see how things go when it comes to taking my 3DS every where because apparently, you can go nearly 10 hours in sleep mode with wireless on for the 3DS and still have full bars of battery juice (according to someone who has it and indeed tested it out).

Actually, seeing how it attatches, it looks alright. It'd still be nice with a longer life, but it's not too bad looking or anything

It looks okay, but I'd rather wait for an official Nintendo product.

No thanks. I'm not sure I trust Nyko after buying their Wii battery packs. >__>

i had some problems with the nyko packs too. they worked fine... for a while. then they started dying a lot earlier and the charger kept saying they were done after 5 seconds and stopped, so you could never refill again. i guess it was the charger more than the batteries that sucked.

I might get this after reading a review first since 7 hours with 3d and brightness all th way up would be amazing.

If the battery life for the 3DS really ends up being short I might buy this. Nyko proucts work great for me, especially the wii remote ones. If you had a problem maybe you left it in too long and the capacity was diminished, like an electric razor. THe only time they ever stopped working and fried the wii remote was when I wet one of them.

Actually, the battery pack or whatever its called dont look as suckish as I thought it would. Depending on the review, I will probably get it

Looks good, but the 3DS is a bit expensive, and getting some games is gonna cost a bit. Will the extra $20 bucks be worth it?

It would be amazing but 7 hours of the 3D effect will destroy your eyes. Nintendo said the most is 30 minutes.

It won't destroy them, but it CAN (not will) hurt them.
