Double the battery life? Okay. I'm sold. Who's getting it??
Every sheep needs a shepherd
Every shepherd needs a sheep for his flock.
They are walking to the horizon of their ideas
Trampling the sprouts of freedom and despising pride
But rise above the Earth and you will see
Where this herd is heading...
It's heading to the precipices!

If they actually release this, I'll get this.

Further reduce the portability of the device? No thanks.

The battery pack looks to be around a half a centimeter thick at most. that's hardly reducing it in my opinion.

Actually, it does look a bit big...

Are you looking at the bottom half, or the top? That bottom piece is the dock. the top piece is the battery pack that lays against the base of the 3DS.

I suspected this type of device would appear. I suspect this one uses rubbish old rechargeable battery technology though, given that it only manages to double the battery life despite appearing to be several times bigger than that built in battery.
If they managed to make one that offered around 8 times the battery life and wasn't as fugly as this beast, I'd be interested.

Coming very soon to Nintendo 3DS via the eShop.

I just saw this on IGN, lol. Every time I bought a 3rd party device of some sort for a Nintendo system, something always goes wrong. Don't think I've bought a Nyko product before...so, I dunno. I'll see how it goes without it first...(and see a review of some sort for this thing...)
Name is Joey btw.
I love Erica (Strike Witches), Eureka (Eureka Seven), and Tenma (School Rumble), stay away from them. xD
Update: Also love Yukari and Mizore from Rosario + Vampire.
Another Update: Also Yuuki...from School Rumble...
P.S: Great Jaggi says "Hey!".

I'd settle for 3-4x, and I mean just on the battery pack. For that size, at least. I'd rather have one a bit more compact like the Xbox 360's controller chargers, for example, if it's only gonna be for an extra 3-5 hours

I'd just be afraid that it would screw up your system. I had a Wii remote charger that fried to of my remotes. So I'll read some customer reviews before I invest. Otherwise, it sounds like a great idea.

I'd be willing to bet that Nintendo sell some sort of official larger battery replacement at some point...... for like $5000
13. Posted: Wed 9th Mar 2011 02:38 GMT
How it attaches.
14. Posted: Wed 9th Mar 2011 02:43 GMT
all you do is unscrew the battery cover, and screw this right one. That's it.

I've had serious problems with Nyko peripherals in the past, so I'll pass on this.

Man, I have never had problems with them at all. My Wii stuff all works great. But you are right, it's a good idea to wait for some rep and review on this.

Yeah, it would be wise to wait for a review.
I'll wait. I don't mind.
