When are Nintendo actually gonna start releasing 3D movies for the 3DS?
When the 3DS was first announced they said that you would be able to watch 3D movies its been over 2 years now, so where are they?

Would anybody else like to watch 3D movies on there 3DS I know I would

I don't think I would buy movies purely for watching on 3DS to be honest, 3D or otherwise I'll stick to bluray and blinkbox.

Well you have Netflix... and Hulu and all that jazz these Americans like. To be honest, I bought my 3DS for gaming and only gaming. I would much rather watch movies on a big screen PC monitor or TV.

I've always said they need access to the youtube 3d channel, I don't think people would want to watch a 2 hour film in the 3ds while holding it in the same position the whole time to keep the 3d effect, but access to hundreds of 3 minutes or so 3d videos on youtube can really become a fad and help the console

Watching a movie on that tiny screen in 3D would be painful

Traditional 3D movies wouldn't work on a 3DS — it's a different technology. They'd have to remake movies using stereoscopic technology.

Honestly it doesn't bother me, I don't even use the 3D effect when playing a game.

The only movie I want on my 3DS is How To Train Your Dragon. I have it on DVD and Blu-Ray, but I want to see it in 3D, dammit.

You may disagree with me, but I can't see how it is 3D. While I am playing a game and I decide to put it on 3D, I can't how it is 3D, but my head still hurts (LOL)! I miss the old 3D where it looks like things are coming in your direction (That was awesome), so I hate the new 3D. I cannot tell the 3D on the 3DS.

I like the small screen, makes it sharp. I will definitely purchase Avatar, Toy Story 3 , those kind of films if they were available, on the 3DS in 3D.

But to see the 3D in films you need specialized glasses for the "pop-out" effect to work. Your eyes are attuned to depth and width perception, which is what the 3DS uses to create that 3D feeling, besides it uses a parallax barrier which, as far as I'm aware, is better accustomed to depth, not pop-out even though it can do both.

As far as 3D Movies go, the creators of said films would have to re-create the 3D because the 3DS uses a different 3D method compared to conventional 3D used in films. And unless there is massive demand for it, I don't see them bothering...
