Topic: "3d Classics"

What classic games do you guys want to see remastered in 3d.
Super Mario World and Super Metroid are mine. It would be interesting to see a link to the past in 3d, i have no idea how that would work.

Mario and Luigi: Superstar saga. It appeared in Nintendo Power's 'Playback' section so it is technically considered a classic.

I'm really curious about this. Wondering what systems they're going to do.

Nobody has mentioned Yoshi's Island yet? Shame on you all.

At least one castlevania game should be remade for it. I don't care which one, just one.

I wouldn't mind giving tetrisphere a go and 3D classics sounds like the perfect platform.

For some reason, I'd like to see Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA) in 3D.

THIS! I noticed that your avatar is an enemy from that game! I'd really like to see a Mario and Luigi RPG 4 in 3D. I like the sprites, but I think it would be cool if they switched dimensions in the game!

Well i'm not a big fan of remakes in general to begin with.
But there is one series i would totally like to see remade in 3D. And this is ...
... _just a Game & Watch collection really. Because i think in 3D you could make these little games look very authentic.
If you add challenges like "reach 500 points in Game A" or "get the key 3 times in a row without dying" with actual rewards and maybe even online (friends-)leaderboards this would be a great way to celebrate these classics.

Apart from that i'd mostly like remakes for games that have no map in the original like Metroid 2. The (3)DS is just so great for maps on the bottom screen.

I don't think this service is really for "remakes," LTD. I think it's basically supposed to be like VC but with the graphics tweaked for 3D. I'd be pleasantly surprised though if it were anything more, such as adding maps to the bottom screen.

Yupp right, i totally forgot about that somehow.
But at least i went into the right direction with the Game & Watch - ones.
I´d mostly go with games like Xevious, Starwing, Stunt FX and the likes then too.
