11. Remake Majora's Mask instead.

That's what Aonuma was talking about, yes, but those who made this list (and some people on this thread) were talking about the Water Temple itself. The first point on the list already mentioned making the menu more accessible, but later they were complaining about the dungeon's layout, which works just fine; it's just more complicated than the average Zelda dungeon.

Hum...let's see:

1. Modernize the menus - No, thanks. With the 3DS touchscreen, equipping/unequipping the Iron Boots won't be a problem.
2. Fix the damn Water Temple - No, thanks. Theres nothing to be fixed in that temple, do what you are supposed to do and everything will be alright.
3. Increase the framerate, smooth out the animations - OK.
4. Fix and finish the sidequests, then add more - Fix? No. Add? OK.
5. Give us the Bomber’s Notebook! - No, thanks. Each game with their own particularities.
6. Greater rewards for greater tasks - OK.
7. Add more hidden areas - OK.
8. One more collect-a-thon for good measure - I usually don't like bizzarre items collecting tasks, but OK.
9. The extra content from the 64DD version - OK.
10. Include a second quest! OK.

It's funny how everyone has their own opinion, and each one thinks they are right. (Not directed at anyone, just an observation of the thread and life in general). It's a good thing they dont like fans make the games, otherwise nothing would ever come out.

Or they could just put both games in one....but that would never happen, lol.

They should definitely put in the Master Quest like they did in the GameCube version. The original is still easily obtainable through VC, but the Master Quest could be a cool extra for the 3DS version, making an OoT remake more justified.

I seem to be be the only living person on this planet who completed the Water Temple in a few hours. Everyone I talk to says the Water Temple was their big videogaming nightmare. I mean its hard and confusing, but not THAT hard. Still, I am going to use the term "Water Temple'd" a lot from now on as I love it.

Did i heard hours? I don't know if i were lucky, but i took less than a full hour to beat the Water Temple for the first time, now i can finish it in just a few minutes. But yes, i think the Master Quest would be a nice addition.

The Water Temple took me 5 hours the first time but I love it! I'd love for Nintendo to add in content from Master quest.

Navi actually reaveals its true identity for being a spy for Gannon and was trying to annoy you the whole time to try to make you talk.

Improve the combat system, that is the main problem with this game. This list is terrible. The graphics are already known to be fixed, and the list basically asks for extra content 5 different times in the form of different worded questions.. Why not just say it once.

I was wondering the same thing as well.

As sad as it sounds I totaly missed out on Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask back in the day. Those were the only 2 Zelda's that I've barely had a go at as crazy as it sounds. But part of that is because i was too into the PSOne and my N64 basically got the shaft aside from most of the key amazing games(the 2 zelda's obviously not included).

Anyways, either I get OOT on the Wii VC or experience the superior 3DS version hmmmm, I'll wait for the 3DS release. Improved frame rate, graphics, 3D and who knows what else! That aside, I've always been more of a 2D Zelda nut, although Skward Sword looks like my dream Zelda visually and it has engaging, unique and amazing MP controls I absolutely loved the e3 demonstration how you can make those eyeballs dizzy by moving your sword in a circular motion, or having to slice those plants in the right direction based on how their mouths open. I love the Cell shaded-like vibrant and colorful dreamy storybook look. To me it looks incredible

Me too....it's been pretty much the same thing since Ocarina, which is a testament to a good combat system

Make it star Cloud Strife instead of Link Boringface. And then we can have Princess Tifa, who would be so much better than Zelda for srs.

I actually can't think of anything to be fixed. The menus wheren't that great but they weren't exactly bad either. But it seems like a good idea to put them on the touchscreen.
And the Water Temple isn't broken, so it doesn't need to be fixed. It just requires some thinking instead of just running from one room to the next. I loved the Water Temple, it was my favorite dungeon in OoT.

I only hope that they won't make you use the microphone for the ocarina. That didn't work well in Spirit Tracks and also if your mic is broken you basically can throw the game away.
