A while ago we noticed that the OFLC and the USK rated Gameloft's Brain Challenge for the Wii. Unsure if it was a WiiWare game or not, we decided to hold off on adding it to the site.

Defend Your Castle has been out for a while in North America, since the launch of WiiWare, in fact! The game, which is based on the popular online flash game of the same name, is the cheapest WiiWare game, though that doesn't mean it's bad - On the contrary, it's actually rather addictive as our Defend Your Castle review testifies.

GameLoft, who you might know as the company bringing their mobile game Block Breaker Deluxe to WiiWare, is bringing three more games to the service. Two of these are also mobile phone ports, but one of them is a new game.

A Nintendo of America press release went out today, and it has officially dated WiiWare. The service will launch in the US on May 12th, with a number of games being available right at launch (The press release doesn't state which games those are).
