Yesterday, the OFLC revealed that Lonpos would be coming to WiiWare in Europe. Today offers a bit more shocking news.

If the concept of tossing pongs appeals to you then this week’s WiiWare release will probably have you crying tears of ecstasy. Frat Party Games: Pong Toss (previously known as Beer Pong before Nintendo got a bit moody about the connection with alcohol) is a digital representation of the popular college pastime and certainly looks amusing enough, but as always we will reserve judgment until we’ve actually had chance to sit down with a cool six pack and review it – which should be very shortly.

With the upcoming release of the controversial WiiWare title Frat Party Games - Pong Toss, we thought it would be a good time to get some inside information on the title. We were fortunate enough to catch up with Jag Jaeger, co-founder and VP of JV Games and he was kind enough to take time out of his busy schedule to do an interview with WiiWare World. Here's what Jag had to tell us in this exclusive interview.

After coming under fire from groups like the Anti-Drug Coalitions of America last month it seems that Nintendo felt morally obliged to put the pressure on JV Games to change the title of their forthcoming game Frat Party Games - Beer Pong to the less offensive and alcohol free name of Frat Party Games - Pong Toss!

When we first brought you the news last month that a game based on Beer Pong would be coming to WiiWare many of you had a good laugh at the stupidity of it all.

When Nintendo announced WiiWare was going to pave the way for a new and more open world of videogame publishing, we were all fairly happy. After all, we all want to see the little guys of the software world get a fair slice of the pie, right? And WiiWare will undoubtedly open the window for more original and innovative gaming experiences.
