Play Control Pikmin is HORRIBLE! the Wii controllers are God Awful! It doesn't even compare to the great Game Cube controllers! What the hell are you people at Nintendo thinking?! My girlfriend bought me the Play Control Pikmin 1 when it came out because she knows I am a rabid Pikmin fan and I was disgusted at how bad it was! Good thing I didn't buy a Wii. Lucky she had one to play it on.
Re: Review: Donkey Kong 64 (Nintendo 64)

I disagree with this review, but not completely. First, about the multiplayer. The main feature in this game is single player, not multi. I don't really consider it a platformer. I consider it a collection game, which is why I got it a long time ago; I love collectiong games. Also, it did not involve mostly minigames to get golden bananas. There are times when you have to fight a giant spider, get to the end of a small maze then escape before you get shot, and lots of original ideas. You can't rate a collecting game if you weren't expecting a collection game. In short this is what I thought of the review: the reviewer was not looking at the game as a collection game like it should have been looked at. I would give this game at least an 8. BTW, I can say that about the minigames because I have beaten the game and gotten 100% [including the 201st golden banana].

By 110percent

Re: Nintendo Blocking Third Party Releases On Virtual Console?

Nintendo gave Flipnote Studio away for free. It's one of the coolest apps I've seen in recent memory. They could have made a fortune on it, but they gave it away.

Speaking of the DS, everyone who bought a DSi got 1000 points, for free. Ninty basically gave everyone ten dollars. On top of that, you got a free browser.

Speaking of free browsers, when they decided to make the Wii browser free of charge, they gave everyone who had already purchased it, a free NES game of their choice. They didn't have to do either.

Speaking of the Wii, Nintendo sent Wiimote covers out to anyone who requested them, for free. There are over 50 million Wiis out there, can you imagine the cost just for covering half of those systems?

I'm not even going to go into the Club Nintendo give-aways. The point is, Nintendo is one of the few who actually give something back, or do things with no financial gain from time to time.

Now, I'm supposed to believe that they would do all these things, and more, and yet still sink to such a low, money grubbing standard, as to what this poster is claiming? I'll never believe that.

Besides, the internet is rife with enough Wii hating as it is.

By SirGreatNose

Far and away, my favorite game of all time. Epic story, tons of mythology and pop culture references (Beavis & Butthead, anyone?), incredibly varied combat thanks to 14 playable characters, graphics that hold their aesthetic beauty to this day, outstanding music, and one of the deepest equipment systems ever to grace an RPG.
