Re: Review: Wonder Boy in Monster Land (Wii Virtual Console / Virtual Console Arcade)

This game is massively underrated. Just watching videos or seeing pictures and it looks too simplistic.

Until you play it.

The game is addictive in an old school way, despite the difficulty and simplicity of the gameplay, I just keep coming back to it. This is easily one of my most favorite purchases from the VC.

Now if only we could get Wonderboy and Monster Lair's arcade versions to get the complete series out.

I can't wait for NL's Monster World IV review! I'm expecting an 8-9.

By Spark_Of_Spirit

Re: Kingdom Hearts 3D Gets Mark of Mastery Special Edition

@zenarium: I'm 21 years old, and many comments you made on this site have no logic whatsoever.

Developers make games to print money, and it has always been that way. Sure, they make them fun in order to attract consumers into buying them, but they don't do it for praise alone. Entertainment was made to be purchased and enjoyed, not just made for ''fun''.

I've bought practically every Kingdom Hearts game that has been released in North America. I've already pre-ordered the special edition of Dream Drop Distance. As long as Square Enix releases Kingdom Hearts games, they will have my (and many others) money. The reason why people buy Kingdom Hearts games is because the series is awesome.

By Knux

Re: Talking Point: DS Games Deserve Digital Distribution on 3DS

Easy to do? Hardly. Even for digital downloads, there's still probably a bunch of licensing issues to go through before they can put a game up for sale, especially for that "under-appreciated" category you mentioned. Couple that with the glacial release schedule we've seen in Nintendo's download services so far, and it's a fat chance we'd ever get another chance to try stuff like, say, Draglade, to name a fairly obscure one.

Even if they did decide to offer DS games for download, we'd probably get a few good first-party titles and then watch the service sputter out. Same old pattern. :(

By Linkuini

Re: Project X Zone Details Sure to Push Buttons

in my honest opinion here i dont see this as a bad game. but i dont think its one i would go buy. its pretty much another side scrolling fighter game. i was pretty excited when i saw that three different game companies were working on a game together and i was really hoping it wasnt a fighter. i was hoping they would put their creative minds together and come up with a completely new game instead of mashing their big name characters into one game and seeing which one would win in a fight. the only thing that really surprises me about this game is that namco didnt jam pac man or astaroth into this one.

By Shock_Tart
