I entered but don't expect to win, I'm not planning on buying it for the Wii but if I can get it for free I'm not turning it down! Woop Woop!

I wonder if we'll actually get a trailer before release?

Denkou said:

this is the stupidest concept for an FPS ever..... not a single bullet was shot in the name of the cold war! (you know what i mean) there was no actual violence, just tension and plenty of threats. its a stupid idea.

oh crud, i just let loose my opinion. (runs for nearest bomb shelter)

"Please note that this competition is only open to residents of the UK."

What if we're willing to pay postage costs ourselves?

3DS said:

were do i put my address cos it only asks for country or will you contact us via e-mail

James said:

Perhaps we should make that bit under the Submit Entry button a bit larger

Please note that this competition is only open to residents of the UK.

@DSi We'll contact you for your address if you're successful

I don't think the rules are clear enough...So UK, only? That huge bold font doesn't seem to be telling me the anything.

HipsterDashie said:

Why are people complaining? You Americans get competitions all the time, let us Brits have a crack at it for once!

My fingers are crossed.

edhe said:

I hope they were intentional when they spelt one of the options The "boar" war...

It's spelt Boer, Argos!

And to be honest, when I'm looking at a competition on Nintendolife, the first thing I look for is what territory it applies for.

Dodger said:

We get the NES contest! It's only fair that the UK gets a contest every once in a while. Besides, I don't want Call of Duty!

killer6370 said:

does anyone even read the rules before they enter a contest(uk residents only was the first thing i saw)

G-MaxiMillion said:

I haven't seen any gameplay for CoD Black Ops Wii yet, and I doubt it'll be any better than the last one they made for the Wii.

ReddLionz said:

Darn it. It's not like I would get this for Wii anyway, though. And I hate it when Treyarch doesn't release information until the week it releases.

Chris720 said:

Americans get contests regularly, and as soon as the UK gets one, they all go on a rage. Americans hate the Brits?

RyuZebian said:

Oh COME ON. When can the rest of Europe get some? And Aussies for that matter (although personally I care more about Europe...)! I know most of your readers are Americans and Brits, but still... Or ARE they? DO you actually have any statistics on that? That would be neet. Maybe neet enough for me to forget about my prize-less-ness!

bubby323 said:

I really did love reflex in fact its one of the only games i STILL play on my Wii.(:

Chris720 said:

Another guy who thinks Brits don't deserve a contest. I mean really...

But still, there haven't been any contests for teh Aussies or the rest of Europe (from my understanding), so they are the guys who should be complaining more.

Search "Vietnam War" in google. Oh, also you could try "Korean War", or "Berlin Wall", or even "Chinese Civil War". Sure these conflicts do not fall under the name "Cold War", but they were caused by it.

James said:

@melvin2898 To be fair, we already posted the answer in the second paragraph.

Call of Duty tackles a whole new era as Black Ops plunges you into the murky height of the Cold War and history's most secretive battles.

lol, i love how people in the upper portion of the thread are assuming the ones complaining the loudest are from the US. last i checked, those flags beside those usernames are not Old Glory

LuWiiGi said:

I wish I could enter this but I don't have a Wii and my parents wouldn't let me get this anyway.

Oh, and for the question...anyone who gets it wrong is the biggest genius of all time.

taffy said:

Trick question, it doesn't just take place during the cold war. Yeah I've been watching "Behind the Design" on gametrailers

Alfred_ENG said:

Thank you Nintendo Life and thank you Argos.

United Kingdom is England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

mrPlow said:

I once entered a contest by NLife and actually won, never won anything before that, so it could happen to you too . Good luck to UK people!

Denkou said:

@ 39: I never really considered those events as PART of the cold war, but you do have a point.

Shiryu said:

I will make the time to kill! Sadly, I'm not a resident of the UK. Good luck, blighties. =)

Loved COD Reflex and would be thrilled to win Black Ops. FINGERS CROSSED

Chris720 said:

@49 you don't own a Wii?!

My parents don't allow me to have CoD games too, but I buy them secretly and when they're at work, I play them. ;P
