Mystery title to be revealed at E3
Reggie Fils-Aime has dropped hints that Nintendo owners should be very happy this Christmas. The Nintendo of American President said:
There's gonna be a big game for the holiday that gamers will want. All I can tell you is what we announce during E3 is gonna be fantastic. The gamer is gonna be excited and the expanded audience is gonna be excited.
Many fans have expressed concern that the Wii is running out of sure-fire hits what with Smash Bros, Wii Fit and Mario Kart all either out already or due early this year, so Reggie's comment should come as something of a relief. What could the game be, though? Another Zelda, perhaps? Or could it be Factor 5's rumoured remake of 8-bit classic Kid Icarus?
Time will tell...

This could be huge. I hope it's something can't even think of. Wii Fit was totally out of the blue last year (as in it had everyone shocked when they unveiled it) and I hope this is no different.
The "gamers will be excited" comment makes me lean towards Animal Crossing though.

I'm hoping that photo of Reggie is prophetic...

Haha. Possible. I'm sure we'll see Kid Icarus sooner or later. Why can't we have Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing and something brand new all at the same show?
I know it's his job and all but it has to be said - Reggie looked stoked in the interview.

I like the pic of Reggie's background with Pit, oh please it be a 3D Zeldaesca game.

This isn't going to be Kirby or Animal Crossings if Nintendo have already announced/hinted at those games. Nintendo are always really secretive, hence the cryptic nature of Reggie's comments. A new IP would be great but I'm also kind of hoping for Starfox. C'mon, controlling both the Arwing and the crosshair independently would be awesome!

Come on, let it be Kid Icarus
