Back in Japan, Nintendo's Satoru Iwata has today announced the first Pokemon title for Nintendo Wii, the game was revealed during a press conference today.

Attendees were treated to a single screenshot of the game, and a snippet of information. Pokemon Battle Revolution will connect with upcoming DS Pokemon titles and should also feature connections with Connect24, the "always online" solution for Nintendo Wii.

Iwata also explained some more sales statistics, but we won't bore you with them. We'll bring you more Pokemon information as we find it.
